The organising committee of ISACON AP 2024 Tirupati is delighted to invite abstracts for paper and poster presentations, an excellent opportunity for all the post graduates and practitioners to present quality scientific material on a bigger stage. The presentations are broadly categorized as

1. Post-graduate paper in Anaesthesiology (open to all post-graduates and DNB trainees)
– All the abstracts received before the 15th of August 2024 will undergo initial scrutiny by a subject expert. Authors of the top 12 abstracts will be notified via email and mobile message, requesting them to present their paper details on the podium (8-minute presentation plus 2-minute discussion). The best paper from ANDHRA PRADESH, as adjudged by our panel, will be forwarded for consideration at the national level for the prestigious TN Jha Award.
– All the papers received after 15th August 2024 and not considered for podium presentation will be enrolled under the free podium presentation category (4-minute presentation + 1-minute discussion).

2. Postgraduate E-Poster (open to all post-graduates and DNB trainees)
– All the abstracts received before the 15th of August 2024 will undergo initial scrutiny by a subject expert. Authors of the top 12 abstracts will be notified via email and mobile message, requesting them to present their paper details on the E-Poster platform (4-minute presentation plus 2-minute discussion). The best paper, as adjudged by our panel, will be awarded.
– All the abstracts received after 15th August 2024 and not considered for the award category will be enrolled under the free E-poster presentation category (3-minute presentation + 1-minute discussion).

3. Paper on Pain (open to all postgraduates and DNB trainees)
– All the abstracts received before the 15th of August 2024 will undergo initial scrutiny by a subject expert. Authors of the top 12 abstracts will be notified via email and mobile message, requesting them to present their paper details on the E-Poster platform (8 minute presentation plus 2 minute discussion). The best paper, as adjudged by our panel, will be awarded.
– All the abstracts received after 15th August 2024 and not considered for award category will be enrolled under the free E-poster presentation category (3 minute presentation + 1 minute discussion).

4. Paper for practicing Anaesthesiologist
– All the abstracts received before 15th of August 2024 will undergo an initial scrutiny by a subject expert. Authors of the top 06 abstracts will be notified via email and mobile message, requesting them to present their paper details on the E-Poster platform (8 minute presentation plus 2 minute discussion). The best paper, as adjudged by our panel, will be awarded.
– All the abstracts received after 15th August 2024 and not considered for award category will be enrolled under free E-poster presentation category (3 minute presentation + 1 minute discussion).

5. Paper on Critical care (open to all postgraduates and DNB trainees)
– All the abstracts received before the 15th of August 2024 will undergo an initial scrutiny by a subject expert. Authors of the top 06 abstracts will be notified via email and mobile message, requesting them to present their paper details on the E-Poster platform (8 minute presentation plus 2 minute discussion). The best paper, as adjudged by our panel, will be awarded.
– All the abstracts received after 15th August 2024 and not considered for award category will be enrolled under free E-poster presentation category (3 minute presentation + 1 minute discussion).

General Guidelines :

1. ISA membership (Life/Associate) is mandatory for abstract submission
2. Conference registration is mandatory for abstract submission
3. Up to a maximum of three authors can be involved in a paper and 2 authors for poster. But only the first author would be the presenter. Award if won , would be awarded only to the first author.
4. The abstract must be original and should not be presented elsewhere earlier
5. No published papers/posters will be allowed.
6. One delegate can submit 2 abstracts of different kind i.e a paper and Poster
7. A candidate has to mention free/ award category at the top of abstract before submission
8. The review committee reserves the right of considering Free paper/poster as award category paper/poster and vice versa depending on the merits of the abstract submitted
9. All the abstracts must be accompanied with a bonafide certificate
10. All abstracts have to be submitted online only.
11. Last date for submission of abstract for award paper / poster presentation is 15^th August 2024.
12. Last date for submission of abstract for E-poster presentation is 15^th August 2024.
13. All the abstract submissions(paper and poster) should be with the filled in the attachment of the following details:

14. All correspondence will be done with presenting author only
15. Time duration of podium presentations:
    • Award paper: 10 minutes (8 minutes presentation+2 minutes questioning)
    • Award poster: 6 minutes (4 minutes presentation+ 2 minutes questioning)
    • Free paper: 5 minutes (4 minutes presentation+ 1 minute questioning)
    • Free poster : 4 minutes ( 3 minutes presentation+ 1 minute questioning)

Abstract For Paper presentation:

1. Only original research papers can be considered for paper presentation
2. Case reports and case series are not considered for paper presentation
3. Abstract should be limited to not more than 300 words
4. Abstract should include 

• • Title
  • Background and Aims of the study
  • Methods
  • Results
  • Conclusion
  • One table/figure as applicable
  • Two references in Vancouver style.

5. Authors names to be included below the title

6. Word limit of 300 words excludes names of authors, references, table/figure

7. Abstract should be prepared using Times new Roman font except references

1. • Title—size 14
   • Body—- size 12
   • References in Vancouver style size—-10
   • Authors names in Times New Roman size 10

Poster presentation :

All posters accepted would be e posters only. No Physical poster presentations are allowed

1. Original research , case study, case series are accepted
2. Poster to be limited to one page of word document or one slide of power point
3. Top of the poster should display “ Title of the poster” in Times New Roman font size 14 Authors name/ names in Size 10.
4. Rt hand corner Institute logo, left hand corner ISA logo
5. Layout in portrait style , body including text , data photos and figures must be designed to appear in one window using times new roman font size 10.
6. All posters must be legible with logical layout and should be self explanatory
7. Single reference may be added in Vancouver styles size 10.

For practioners/consultants :

1. May submit abstracts only for paper presentation
2. Limited only to ISA members who have registered for conference
3. Only original research paper would be allowed
4. Three authors are allowed for one paper submission but the first author only would be the presenting author
5. The paper should not have been presented or published earlier
6. Approval of ethics committee ( Institute proper/ Affiliated medical college) should be obtained and papers with ethics committee approval only would be considered.

6. Out of the abstracts received under competition category, scrutiny would be done to select the best 12 papers ,who will be given a chance for podium presentation

7. Each podium presentation would be for a total time of 10 minutes (8 minutes presentation and 2 minutes for review by judges)

8. And the best presentation would be a combination of the scientific material in the paper and the manner of podium presentation
